Carina Newton

Founder & Senior Paralegal

Carina completed Seneca Polytechnic’s Law Clerk Program and its Paralegal Program.

She brings a background in court reporting/stenography, legal administration and client services to her Paralegal career. Her experience includes working as a Law Clerk and as a Court and Client Representative with Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General at the Ontario Court of Justice.

Carina holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Ethics, Society & Law and English and a minor in Theatre Studies.

Carina has been licensed as a Paralegal since July 2021.

In 2023 Carina also completed training in mediation and dispute resolution at the University of Waterloo and comprehensive arbitration training with Murray Miskin through ADRIO.

In her spare time, Carina enjoys singing, playing with her little dog, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves learning new things and occasionally finds herself researching topics just for fun.

She has advanced oral French-language skills.

Ishani Ajeesh Narayan is a Seneca Polytechnic graduate and a dedicated paralegal committed to providing professional, client-focused legal services.

With a strong foundation in legal research, advocacy, and legal procedures, Ishani strives to approach every case with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. She values clear communication, client confidentiality, and ethical legal practice, while working to ensure clients feel supported and informed throughout the legal process.

In her spare time, Ishani enjoys watching movies and travelling with friends. She is also a dancer and choreographer who loves exploring new places.

She is fluent in Malayalam and Tamil.

Marta Alonso is a Seneca Polytechnic graduate with an educational background in paralegal studies and a strong interest in helping individuals navigate legal matters with confidence. She values clear communication, organization, and a thoughtful approach to understanding each client’s needs.

Marta values client communication and appreciates the importance of making legal information accessible. She is committed to professionalism, continuous growth, and building positive relationships based on trust, respect, and understanding.

Outside of her professional work, Marta enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends, watching movies, and traveling.

She is fluent in Spanish.
